I absolutely love this school! I started there my sophomore year (I'm currently a junior). The teachers are so helpful, the students are respectful and diverse, there's more access to tutoring than I ever had in public school, and teachers care much more about students, there are no favorites. The curriculum is diverse and once you're in high school, goes over adult subjects without offense or bias, which is much better than in public school. The only thing I request is that while I'm still there that they make an app, it would help students so much more!
I have been a student with TCAH for two years now and will be graduating next semester. TCAH is such a welcoming, friendly community that continually helps every student excel. The staff not only customizes your experience so that you as a individual can learn the best way possible, but also are always there to respond to questions or concerns without hesitation. I’ve never be apart of a community that is more caring and kind to one another, which in turn has allowed me to perform much better academically. I highly recommend TCAH to any student who feels their academic needs are not being met elsewhere!
I am a recent 2020 graduate from TCAH. I attended TCAH for 6 years. I was able to skip a year of HS with the help of the great teachers here. This is an ONLINE PUBLIC school, so it allowed me to be able to juggle around other activities in my life. I could generally finish my school in 2-3 days for the week (SOMETIMES). I would say that this school is NOT FOR EVERYONE. You need to be very self-disiplned in order to complete your work. There is not a constant teacher there to remind you. Parents really must be involved with their children, in order for them to succeed. The school does give the students a full curriculum to follow and a teacher for each class. You can call your teacher whenever you need help, and they are always happy to help. There are also other students and field trips provided by the school. They also send you books, art/science supplies all for free. Oh yeah, this school is completely FREE! If you are ok with all the above mentioned, I totally recommend this school
