I originally graduated from her just this year. I have a fair amount of words to say from having been there so long, but I'm sure everyone wants to get into the nitty gritty. The academics of the school are just fine and actually really well! So long as you pay attention and engage in work, nothing should be a problem. The campus is bold with almost a third of it being outside with only the classes being inside and the cafeteria. However, I find this gives it a more free feeling and less restriction. The teachers here were amazing and helped out a lot as long as you are committed to their work. I personally still keep in contact with one as they have always helped me whenever I need it. The only limit this school has would be its funding. There's not much, but it's clear the school makes do with what it's given with. I don't think that should really be a problem for anyone though.Once again, I thin it was a good school and fun experience throughout.
What I really liked about Terry Parker was the way the teachers helped and taught students, I enjoyed my learning experience in the school and was able to excel in most of my classes with the support of my teachers and friends. Terry Parker is usually seen in a bad light by my outside of school friends however, I believe that I received a lot of educative information and productive lessons from TP. I truly grew into the senior I am now through all the challenges I had to go through in order to get good grades in my early high school years and through all the support and help I got from my teachers. And although I had good high school years, I believe that TP can improve better by having better and effective punishments for students who disrupt classes and also try to increase our school spirit.
I honestly enjoyed going to Terry Parker High School. I went to Terry Parker with friends from middle school and I joined Terry Parker's IB program. I was also really involved in the schools' activities such as clubs and sports. I have a lot of school spirit even though Terry Parker might have a bad reputation. I really liked the teachers that I had and the faculty and staff that I met. They were very helpful and good listeners. The IB program was good as well, excluding some factors of the program that happened that were out of the schools control. I think what I would like to see be changed about Terry Parker is just the environment and hopefully be able to encourage more students to join more activities and have more school spirit. I feel like if people who surrounded me had more school spirit, I would have talked to more people that I didn't know but, because of the environment that the students created, I didn't want to/ feel comfortable talking to people that I didn't know.
