I loved Terra Linda High School. Amazing teacher who go the extra mile for helping the students and amazing office staff. Even though some people in the office may come across rude. I enjoyed every minute of my time here: small classes, extremely diverse students from all different backgrounds, the most friendliest people I've ever met. This campus offers so many programs such as AVID which is a program aimed towards help first-generation students and Msel that is a project-based, environmentally-focused program that emphasizes development in leadership. All types of sports such as basketball, swimming, women/men's golf, football, lacrosse, etc. Many clubs on campus, something for everyone. Great resources for students with disabilities as well. The cafeteria needs some major updating. However, the school is under major reconstruction. I highly recommend sending your kids here.

Terra Linda High School is a pretty good high school in terms of opportunity, but can be pretty bad or average in other terms. Academics is amazing, but somewhat lacks in the higher areas (AP Physics C, AP Calc BC, etc.) For the ones that it doesn’t have, however, it’ll allow you to take a class at a local community college, allowing great learning experiences outside the high school. Cafeteria food is repetitive and bland, class diversity is limited despite the large student body made up of latinos, and accessibility to resources (through the CCC or counceling office) is pretty good. This is a safe place where students and teachers can interact trustingly; therefore, getting a review of a high-end average grade.
Terra Linda is a very typical high school in the sense that you will get a range of teachers you love and hate, a mix of people who are incredibly kind and some who are flat out rude, etc. I think if you have a motivated student they will do amazingly. Terra Linda is amazing when it comes to the classes it offers, though. They offer a ton of AP classes and even have College of Marin courses offered at the school, with the actual professors teaching them. Also, they've got programs like MSEL (Marin School of Environmental Leadership) and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), which give really cool ways to get involved in the culture of the school as well as challenge yourself. The Drama Department and Music Department are also very good for a high school. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Terra Linda High School, and my advice to any upcoming Freshmen is to get involved with the school in any way you can- branch out through clubs and after school activities.
