TERRA is a great school for those who are scientifically inclined. They offer great opportunities and clubs for their Engineering and Biomedical academies, and have an under-appreciated athletic program. Most of the teachers are very passionate about teaching and support their students 100%. My only real “complaint” is, as a member of the Environmental academy, I feel overlooked in favor of the more popular magnets (despite having the most students). The Enviro. academy teachers have made my experience with the interesting projects and field trips every now and then, but I wish we had more opportunities.
Also, we have a very established music program. Excellent and organized.
Overall, incredible school that’s “big” without being big. I wouldn’t have seen myself going anywhere else.

The school is very rigorous and is full of hardworking students. Therefore, it is academically challenging. However, there are great teachers and a great learning environment. The counselors are amazing and it is a bully free zone. All the students are really welcoming and nice. However, there is a strict uniform policy. If you are seen wearing something that they do not consider uniform, you could be expelled. Furthermore, it is not necessarily a school that places a major focus on sports. Therefore, if you are someone who wants a full high school experience with a football team and cheerleaders, TERRA is probably not a good choice for you. However, there are plenty of clubs and extracurriculars to choose from. Overall, the school is very clean and safe.
Terra Environmental is a great school, it has prepared me for my educational future. This school has thought me morals and behaviors which I have not known of before. Terra has shaped its students to work smart not hard. It has taught me how life can really be, I can say I am well prepared because of terra. But I do feel as if I have lost that fun high school experience. With such a good reputation, administration is very strict. With either dress code, extra curricular's, and "high school fun experiences" in general. With no football team, there was barely any school spirit, and when there are chances of having some school spirit the administration shuts it down. I would like to see that change in the future. Terra should reward there students for there extremely hard work by having fun some days. Even if its just a simple activity during lunch. Terra is truly an amazing school, and just like it had taught me to balance my life, it needs to learn how to balance fun and work.
