I started here in August 2021 fresh out of online school, and oh man, it saved me. The learning experience here is impeccable, the arts departments, sports and other aspects have so much love put into them. The best part is the other students. Everyone here is so lovely, kind and respectful to others. There's a lot of inclusivity! Some of the rough stuff is we do not have a specific math teacher, and we haven't in three years. It's hard especially for me because that is my weakest subject, but they make do with what they have and who they have. I definitely would like to see more funding go towards the senior class and the sports, just because they have to fundraise themselves and it's hard for them, especially the seniors because I am a senior. Inflation is hitting our class hard and we might not have enough funds to go on our senior trip to DC and NYC in March 2024.
I cannot say enough great things about TCS, my son has attended here for a few years and what I've found is that it really is like a family. The staff truly cares for the students, they work hard too ensure your child is successful. My son chose this school because he had heard so many great things and we are happy to say they are all true. If you are wanting a great education free from all the agendas being pushed in public schools and the bonus of your child developing a great relationship with God, then this is the school for you.
I have two children at Temple Christian School and we couldn't be happier. The class sizes are smaller so the kids get more one on one time if needed. They have Christ centered teaching which is so important to me. I feel that the teachers and other staff are always there to support the students not just academically, but spiritually as well.
