I have attended TVHS for the past 3 years (class of 2023) and sadly will continue to go for my last year. The school presents a great class selection , along with CTE Pathways for students who are interested in trade instead of higher education. The education aspect of the school is well rounded, though the schools credibility depletes greatly when other factors are included. TVHS is a predominantly white school(including both students and faculty). This in itself is not inherently bad, but the school environment is fueled with racial and sexual discrimination. Such discrimination ranges from hate crimes being targeted toward BIPOC students or sexual assault allegations among the students. The administration has been proven to overlook such difficulties resulting in an unsafe school environment for all students. I would not recommend this school as it does not care for the well being of their students.
Temecula Valley High School encouraged a well rounded education while providing many engaging extracurricular activities. I participated on an athletic team while enrolling in several AP classes that earned me college credits. On top on this, I got to explore exciting classes such as ceramics and graphic design!
School events were the best part of the school year! Enjoying football games and dances were a huge part of the school culture. If I had to change anything it would be the bathrooms, they were locked often and a lot of the times gross. Teachers were, for the most part, really good at their jobs and very interested in the topics they were teaching. It made a huge difference in the education we got when a teacher was invested in whatever we were learning.
