Great staff, Awesome location, and the best academics in Colorado! Set in the beautiful Rocky Mountains this school offers a unique learning experience to all who attend. The staff is fun and devoted to making sure that the students achieve the skills to function in everyday life beyond high school. Because of the extremely small nature of the school, bonds between peers are super tight and everyone always has each others back.

I enjoy having close relationships with my teachers. It makes learning more engaging and exciting. I also feel comfortable with getting help from them when I am struggling in their class. I also love how inclusive my school community is. It's not uncommon to smile at, wave to or hug multiple people in the halls during passing period because at some point, you have had a direct engagement with them due to our small population. A drawback of my school is the range of classes offered is smaller than those at larger schools. My school tries its best to provide diverse and interesting classes for everyone but the truth is, we simply don't have the resources (teachers, funds, space) to do so.
Telluride High School is a strong academic school. Many different AP courses are offered. We have off campus lunch, so we can go home or other places. It is a very good community, and the school is very nice. We just went through a renovation. The teachers are awesome! My only wish is that we had more sports funded through the school. We are a ski town, and we don't even have skiing as a high school sport.
