Telluride High School Reviews
Rating 3.78 out of 5 41 reviews
Telluride highschool is great academically but it lacks a sense of community and severely is lacking in diversity. Additionally since it is so small, many teachers choose favorites and some teachers will even hold grudges against you because of your parents. Telluride high school has a lot to improve in terms of college readiness as well and needs to stop treating college applications like a competition because they are not and it promotes and unhealthy environment in the school and stress of all of the students resulting in unhealthy habits. Additionally the administration does not approach students with kindness but rather threats only causing students to act out more. They have a long way to go in my opinion
Telluride high school gave me a lot of opportunities for sports and different activities. I loved the clubs and chances to meet new friends. I loved the teachers and how friendly they were. I always felt safe and seen with a lot of the teachers I came in contact with. I would say my favorite thing about Telluride High school is the way they care about the student's mental health. I didnt ever feel like I had to hide anything when I was going through a rough time. They always had concilors and people to talk to and be with.
I enjoyed my time at Telluride and I made a lot of friends and learned a lot! The teachers made ample efforts to make sure that the material was understood and that students were engaged. This was the case! I loved all my teachers and really enjoyed the material they thought and more importantly the way they thought.
