Go Timberwolves! I joined this school in 7th grade and watched it go through many changes, including the transition from its mascot, the Nighthawk, to the one my class voted for, the Timberwolf. I was the first announcer for the new football, volleyball, and basketball teams. Overall, my experiences in Tekoa made my childhood one full of crazy life lessons and I look back with great nostalgia. Graduated Class of 17'

I moved to the small town of Tekoa when I was five years old. I graduated as a twelve year senior and participated in several clubs and activities. I met some great people and had some decent opportunities, but there were some issues with the school. Academically I feel they could have improved in preparing us for college readiness. I also feel there was a lack of discipline in the students when it came to sports. Students were picking fights and drinking all under the knowledge of some coaches and there was nothing done about it. Due to the size of the school and league there were not a lot of options for sports, especially in the winter where basketball was the only option. Granted Tekoa High School had some issues, but I am still very grateful I attended. Because the school is so small, I was able to meet great people and was given great opportunities. I made some great friends as well and I still speak to them quite often.
Very small school but will keep you motivated throughout school. Teacher really care and are very consistent.
