Essentially, during my time at Tech High, I have noticed and weighed the pros and cons of attending this school. Now in Sonoma County, Tech is widely thought of as a college-prep academic school, which to me it seems that way. It also is a great safe space for learning and being who you want to be. Now, since these are all common conceptions of Tech, I want to state some things that people don't necessarily know going in. These aspects include student behavior (The sort of overconfident rudeness and snot among many for having achieved more), the overall mental state of students from my perspective (Many people at this school always say they want to leave because they feel out of place, lonely, or depressed), and the faculty-student relationships (These are actually really good! Teachers tend to be very open to conversation and genuinely care about the students which comes from the small school vibe).

A challenging school with an amazing student body and teachers. Technology High School provides us as students with many class opportunities, sports and clubs. I personally am apart of Medical Club which is a very successful club whom so many people truly put effort into. Although our sports program is not the most best, students still attempt to do their best and let our school name be known. The environment at Technology High school is the most accepting, caring and most helpful all around!
I like the project based learning. I like when we were on the Sonoma State Campus. The environment gave us a taste of the college campus experience. I like the teacher to student ratio. Our math teachers are very good. My math teacher is able to teach math in a way that I can understand.

We have a new campus which has lots of nice features. I wish the planning would have incorporated a gym and/or large multi purpose room. This would help students have a place on campus where we can all hang out at school functions.

Given the number of students, i feel it would be beneficial to have another counselor. This would allow for more one on one time with counselor and allow for planning earlier on the students academic career.
