TVC is a good school. It's not for everyone, but I think it's better than most other private schools in the area (Calvary, Cross Lanes, etc.). The administration is great and most of the teachers are very friendly and care about the students. In recent years, they've done a lot to improve academics, including offering Honors classes and the HOPE program for Juniors and Seniors. Mrs. Temple is really great in helping with college and career stuff.
My big 'con' is the emphasis on basketball. They bring in many students from other countries for their 'Prep Basketball' team. They really seem to favor these students more than the others. They devote WAY more funding to the basketball teams than they do to soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and track COMBINED.
The building needs some work, too. The lockers are old and most of them barely open. Overall, I like attending here, but no school is perfect!

If you've ever wondered if such a thing as "barely a school" exists, look no further. You can pretty much get away with anything. Super easy to steal the hot lunch. You can submit the script of the spray tan episode of friends as a Bible reflection or make a video comparing Travis Scott to Jesus and get a 100%. One time I just got up and went home in the middle of class and no one said anything. Half the time you're just sitting around doing absolutely nothing, other half you're doing pointless busy work for the same overworked teacher you've had for the last five years. Sometimes you play Chromebook baseball. Either way you don't really learn anything (except how to hit a home run with a laptop with exposed wires) and develop horrible habits that are you have to completely break once you get to college.

overall 10/10 if you're a fan of internalized homophobia
It is very accepting of students from various backgrounds. It is also culturally diverse with students from various countries who attend as foreign exchange students. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and offers small class sizes, clubs and organizations for students with many different interests to sports, music, and academic clubs. The staff is friendly and willing to help students .
