Tchefuncte Middle School Reviews

I'm not going to exaggerate at all on this review. This school isn't the best you'll ever find, but it's one of the better ones here in Louisiana. There are certainly some good teachers here (mainly Bonnie Stokes, Michele Cassidy, and Melissa Grant) and some bad ones (who I prefer not to name). The grades are unimpressive, but very good by Louisiana standards. There are very few clubs and enrichment classes are only slightly above average in terms of how much I've learned. Safety is very important to the school which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Common games like tag have been banned. Overall, if there were a better school in this area, I would go. However all the schools other than Tchefuncte Middle School are either just as bad/good or slightly worse.

It's not a great school. I have a deathly peanut allergy and they have a table for people with this issue. The problem is people without this allergy sit at this table and don't have any room for people with actual allergies. The teachers and staff can be mean sometimes and strict. Teachers I very mean to particular students and can even seem to bully them.
