If I had to describe my experience at T.C. Roberson a great starting point for any student to further developed their education and to find that right path for them after college. T.C. Roberson provides excellent guidance’s from the teachers and staff allowing the student to succeed. The school has people from all different types of diversity and culture. Providing students, a chance to interact with people as well as to get involved with the school whether it's a pep rally, clubs, or sports. Safety is another thing that the school does well in. Being there I knew that as a student I would have a secure place to learn and not have to worry. I'm sure that there are some cons for the school but being a former student from T.C. Roberson I really can think of any cons since the school provided excellent services in all areas making it stand out from other schools.
Super great. I’m a rising senior and we’re just living. You know making the most of school shout out to Mrs. Patane 😘
I think the staff and administration care about the students. I would like to see more arts, music, and theater opportunities.
Tc Roberson is a good school they have a very diverse set of classes you can take. The teachers are also usually flexible and understanding. There are many opportunities to participate in school activities and sports as well.
I liked the teachers, everyone was very nice. I also liked how many options for clubs and ways to get involved there was.
T.C. Roberson High School is a great school. TCR is located in a wonderful WNC community. The community very supportive and helpful. TCR is big enough to be very diverse, yet small enough that everyone know each other. TCR has awesome teachers, too. The teachers really care about students and challenge students daily. Athletics, arts, and clubs make TCR fun and engaging. There is always something going on.
I liked T.C Roberson in my years of high school. The teachers were all really nice and understanding. I made many friends and it felt really welcoming. I would not change the high school that I went to if I was given any other option. If I could change anything about the school besides the fact that we are not there right now because of covid, it would be the accessibility to resources. I feel like it should be much easier to talk with councilors but we cannot because they are all so busy. It is a rare occasion when I get to spend 1 on 1 time with mine and I wish that was not the case.
I love the family experience that is created at the school. The “Ram Fam” is a big part of what makes the school what it is. Teachers are always willing to help and they want you to succeed. My teachers have always kept up to date with things going on for me outside of school and they want to see my succeed in those things as well. I love me school and I love all of the opportunities I have been given at TCR. There are countless clubs and groups to be a part of that get you more involved with the school. It’s overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone to go there!
I loved everything about TC. I believe there should be nothing that changes because I had a a overall good experience at TC Roberson. The teachers taught me very well where I can go further in life and have be successful at it.
I enjoyed TC but what I think would've been better is having a area dedicated to information for students like events or clubs instead of having it spread out, and maybe a box of suggestions with anonymity.
I liked the choices that were offered during the school years but diversity was not held in high regard and sports were favored a lot more over academics and art.
As a TC Roberson senior I do believe this a a great school for your child to attend; your teachers are always there for you along with being willing to help you; TC has amazing councilors who are always there to help you, even if they may be busy they will find the time for your child; TC also has an fantastic arts program along with many career based courses, it can range from making clothes to designing video games. The CTE course also included automotive and architectural based classes. The TC. Robersons staff are fantastic at their jobs and 8/10 their door will be open for your student to ask the questions they need.
The school is very diverse, friendly people, very good teachers and full of school spirit I enjoyed going here because of the community feel that I got every time i stepped through the door. A school wouldn't be what it is if it isn’t for the teachers who do a wonderful job keeping all students focused and encouraging them to achieve all the greater things in life.
T.C Roberson is a very diverse high school located in the Blue Ridge mountains. There are many inclusive clubs and activities offered at this school, ranging from Creative Writing club to level 3A sports teams. This school also offers a wide range of academic courses, and also offers the most AP classes in the district. I would love to see this school switch to renewable energy, such as solar panels, for daily activities and to be more environmentally friendly. Another way to achieve this goal is to create a compost system at the school, so less goes to landfills. Also, by creating a garden, the school could have access to more fresh (and cheaper) produce.
The school lacks diversity. In addition, the school caters to the students whose parents have money. In the meantime, students from a lower socioeconomic status are not given opportunities to excel even if they are honor students. Therefore, the one thing that the school and Buncombe County Schools could work on is being fair and creating equal access to education for all students regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds.
I loved how the staff was always willing to help the students succeed and gave us many opportunities to be great. In the future, I would like to see diversity be brought into each classroom. I believe this will happen if the community and the school do a better job encouraging students to push them selves to their full potential regardless of the obstacles they may face. However, that is only half the battle. The school also needs to find a way to take away the focus away from insufficient things such as clothes, drama, and any outside stress factors. They can do this by raising money to fix issues within the community and enforcing rules that make T.C. Roberson a place where students are readily equipped to learn.
My children are a senior and freshman at TC Roberson High School. I also am a graduate of TC Roberson High School. We have been very pleased with the academic, athletic, artistic and overall programs offered at the high school. I cannot imagine my children being anywhere else and I think I turned out pretty well!
