The teachers at Taylor Preparatory High School are some of the nicest, most dedicated teachers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Most of my teachers have pushed everyone to go above and beyond, have been willing to explain difficult concepts multiple times, and do their best to make learning interesting and fun. However, our school seems to have a problem with keeping teachers. As a junior, only one teacher from my freshman year still teaches at Taylor Prep. Additionally, during both my sophomore and junior school years, I have had a teacher leave one month into the school year and have gone several months with a substitute, learning very little until a new teacher was hired.
Aside from that, my main gripes with the school are menial problems like how we're charged two dollars to wear free dress on "free dress days," and how our bathrooms are always disgustingly dirty.

It was a pretty good school. I think that some of the rules are absolutely ridiculous. If you’re gonna force kids to be in a place for 8 hours a day 5 days a week at least make it a place they sort of want to go to. There is no reason I should dread having to get up every morning. Also, school being that early is so infuriating. But the staff are amazing. I love most of them and will miss them so much when I graduate. And I do think that it’s nice that the school has so many college preparation opportunities.
The student body is small, so eventually you'll get to know many of the same people in your grade, the staff size also relatively small so you can develop connections and get advice on not just school but college information as well.
The school often has school events as college related ones for those planning to go(ubcluding monthly college visits).
Good school for college prep.
