The experience that I have so far at Tara High School has been quite discouraging. Since my last semester of High school is approaching, I can honestly say that i'm so eager to graduate and hatch out on a new journey. I have been overlooked and viewed as this student who has no luck in this society. As if I'm not worthy of attending a college or university because of just being me to the point where I've contemplated transferring. I've tried networking and trying to connect to others who share the same interest that I do, but I never came across another individual at my school who was willing to try to help guide me in my career path. I just took own actions into my hands and started joining activities and youth programs out of school. The programs that I'm in let me know that I have a voice and that I do indeed matter by that I can say that I made the best choice.

I like and enjoy Tara High's Cyber Engineering program and Honors/AP program. What made me stay at Tara throughout my high school career was the Cyber Engineering program since it's connected and relevant to my major and future career. I would like to primarily see change in the Tara's resources and facilities since I feel as though Tara's resources isn't quite up to par like the other high schools such as Lee High, McKinley High, and many others despite the fact that a few of the higher ups are alumni from Tara.
I have been at Tara high school for four years now and can honestly say it hasn't been the best. Administration is hardly involved and do not encourage creativity. School spirit is almost non-existent and if I could go back I would not have stayed here. Many of the problems come from the top, however there are some decent teachers here who truly care about their students but without a functioning administration to back them up it means nothing.
