The teachers at Tanner are the best or at least used to be the best. We used to have the best of the best at that. Chappell, Hulsey, Pepper, and McGee? You can’t beat those teachers at all. They knew exactly what they were doing and how to get their job done. After I left each of their classrooms, I felt accomplished.. I felt that I learned something productive.. They also showed they truly cared about us and would be here for us if we needed them.. The adminstratives are not too great.. I’m not going to mention their names but their not all that .. Our clubs are not like they used to be.. We used to be involved in a lot around Tanner.. Now their not really as active.. But I say all throughout my times at Tanner it is one of the most challenging 2A school in North Alabama.

Tanner is not only a high school but the center of a community. Whenever an event occurs you know who all will be there and the support they will bring. The trait I like most about Tanner is we never give up, there are many challenges we have had to overcome. Even though they did not go over as smoothly as someone would hope, everything ended well in the end. I hope in the near future Tanner will not be looked down upon. Being a small school, we are often looked at as weak, or not capable. Hopefully, in the near future, we will turn out to be the underdog that wins.
Tanner high school has taught me many valuable lessons over the 12 years I’ve attended. From the first day of kindergarten to my last day as a junior. Senior year is coming up in a few short months and I couldn’t be more excited. Although leaving high school will be very exciting, I will miss the days Tanner high has given me.
