My experience in Tampa Bay Tech has been alright. I was only able to attend the school for half a year because of COVID 19. All the teachers I've had have been amazing with the exception of one. The school culture is not that great in my opinion. There are a lot of fights and at times they make me feel unsafe. The people are unpredictable and you never know when a fight is going to randomly begin. The academics however are very good. I have learned a lot of things because of my teachers and I am very thankful to them for that. The programs offered are exceptional. I am in the medical program and I remember during freshman orientation I saw all the things they had to offer and I could tell they have put a lot of thought into making the curriculums for those programs and making them the best they can be.
Very awesome, the teachers are amazing, the courses are eye-opening, the opportunities are endless, and the students are decent.
Attending Tampa Bay Technical High School was one of the best decisions that I made. This school actually prepared me for college as well as life. Because of the variety of the classes that the school offered, I was able to get hands-on experience in many fields such as the medical, welding, commercial, and business field. I was also able to get many opportunities such as internships and on-the-job training.
As a veterinary assisting student I find the program very good, as well as the availability of other technical programs in the school.
I take Commercial arts at Tampa Bay Tech. The art class environment is very fun, we work and joke around some. The teachers are very nice and caring for their students, some really want their students to strive for what their passion is, like mine is art. :)
I like the way of learning they use.The teachers teaches to the ability that the student could understand what they say. The school has many different shops including: Medical,Architecture,Commercial arts,Veterinarian program,Welding,Autobody repair, Automotive,Paint refreshment, early childhood education and has many other classes. The school also offeres drivers education to students at the age of fourteen and a half years old.The schools graduation rate has beeen of ninety percent from two thousand and sixteen. The school is very diverse when it comes to race, gender, ethnicities, etc. The school is very safe as no one would feel left out or feel the need to leave. The guidance conelors there are very helpful. They give the most information you could get about a certain topic and they encourage and "nurture' you to the becoming the best adults you could be. Another thing i like about the school is the way the time management is structured. You could come to school and have only your shop
So far these past 3 years at tech have been wonderful. I've learned about a lot of things educationally and also about the teachers and students there. Even though we're currently going through a pandemic everyone has stayed in touch and always caring for each other. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my school, I find it perfect just the way it is now.
I rated it 5 stars because of the programs that the school offers. I'm in the medical program and I think it's really helping me prepare for my future career aka a general surgeon.
I am a now a junior at Tampa Bay Tech Highschool. When I first went to Tampa Bay Tech it was my first time at a public school; my whole life I went to private school. I always heard bad things about public schools but most of the stuff I heard were not true. Tech was such an amazing decision I am so glad I did and would never regret. My experience as a Muslim and a first time at public school was a 8/10. Everyone was so nice and understanding. They have such amazing programs such as medical, arcthiture, wielding, computer, and many more. I would totally recommend Tampa Bay Tech.
My experience with this school was great. Tampa Bay Technical High School has some good teachers. This school also has some understandable courses.
I enjoyed the environment of the school because there's kids from so many different backgrounds in different programs , which creates a lot of unique social groups.
Tech was a good school with some really good teachers in the Engineering program. The biggest issue were its distance from residential areas, it is not centrally located in the city. Other than that there were normal school issues, but I would say less than other schools since most choose to go there and they are focused on their future.
This school is above the state average in key measures of college and career readiness. At this school, low-income students are graduating at or above the state average for all students.
i enjoyed my experienced at Tampa Bay Tech due to the support from my teachers and the fun classes, they also have many club and elective opportunities such as Commercial arts and vet club and elective
It has a big diversity and also has a lot of choices of extracurricular activities. The one thing they do need to change though is the cleanliness.
It is a very large school that’s out in the open walking around the halls felt like what I expected strolling around college campus to be. But on a smaller level. It’s relatively clean and I’ve made a lot of Memories there
What I like about my high school is the fact that I get to learn what I am interested in and even get a certification that can help me get a job right after high school. I am a health student and I love how interactive they are in class and we get to actually simulate what medical professionals do in the real world. The school overall has so many opportunities for a wide range of career choices that future students can choose from. The counselors and administration also push for their students to challenge themselves.
