I like the small community feel, it is like we are a family. Classes are small so teachers are able to give help whenever needed. Even with the pandemic they are doing their best to accommodate the students and keep up with CDC guidelines.
The improvement I would suggest is to review what is being taught so when students take the ACT they aren't lost.

My change for Talihina High School would be better food, and a better atmosphere. The food is not the best, the meals are prepared way too early, so by the time the high school students get to eat, it is already cold or stale. My other idea of change would be to brighten up the buildings,or have more school spirit. Most of the students could care less if the golden tigers win or lose a game . We don't get to enjoy pep-rallys anymore, because students do not care anymore.
Overall a good high school experience. Most of the teachers and faculty are very attentive and are willing to help anyone in need. The low student-teacher ratio makes many classes a lot easier for many students as well.
