This was my first attending Tagos Leadership Academy. The school's academics is "independent project based" work. This is basically were we pick a topic or subject and then do a big project including a paper, a product of some sort, and live resource. Over all I find this school very helpful, understand, and filled with great staff and students. The only problem I have is the teachers here are too understanding. They don't provide punishments when(at least when I think) necessary.

TAGOS Leadership Academy is a project based high school where you pick a project of your choice and spend anywhere between five and eight weeks to complete it. You need a lot of research, a paper, a product or something to showcase and a presentation. I loved TAGOS because it gave me an opertunity to learn what I wanted to learn about while still meeting the educational benchmarks needed to graduate. The teachers, or they liked to be called advisors, were always there to support and help you all the way through. They genuinely cared about the students.
I liked how this school encouraged independence and freedom. Teachers were very engaged and really cared for their students. I would like to see more structured classes and more college prep.
