They do a good job keeping the different grades separated to help reduce the amount of bullying. There is a jazz band, symphonic band, and tech club. The facility itself could use some renovations but overall not a terrible experience.

Sykesville Middle School was a pretty bad school. The teachers overall were pretty ok but bad teachers were easy to come by. The administration was flawed and the building was drab but it was liveable.
