I am a freshman at Swenson Arts & Technology High School. So far, this year has been the best! Between the fantastic involvement with academics and the amazing teachers, it has made me love high school thus far. Although, there are limited after school activities and sports programs, Swenson makes up for it because of the diversity and welcomeness of the school.

I liked this school as a Career prep school, but I wish that more focus would have been put into the basic academic classes. The language classes needed some revamping and diversity of more faculty to teach these classes. The overall issues had to be with the student body and the extended periods. I would love to see the school make some updates to the building and see the classes become more diverse.
I am a sophomore at Swenson Highschool. This highschool is honestly life changing and gives a very different life experience. Teachers and staff at this school care so much about your education and future. In fact, my English teacher helped me throughout the process of applying to the ACE Summer Program @ CCP, which by the way is a great opportunity for highschool students that want to speed up things college-wise. You earn real college credits.

Anyways, this highschool is small and only has 600-700 students! Amazing, right?! You get one-on-one communication and attention from teachers in class. Swenson even has career shops. For example, they have health, culinary, baking, engineering, and many more programs! It's an amazing opportunity.

The only bad thing about going to such a small school is that they don't have many sports, especially for girls.
