I like the new motion sensored water bottle refiller they put next to the cafeteria, how you get more time in between classes, and I also like you you see people from different grades in the hallway. However, I wish I had more classes with people from different grades. I also wish that one of the teachers I have didn’t tell the whole class about all of the things she has formerly done (been in a mental place, smoked things, etc.).

I really enjoyed the small atmosphere of sweetwater. There weren't too many faces to get lost in which allowed for good wholesome time between individuals and students; however, the quality of that time could have been heightened if driven and inspiring faculty were there. unfortunately many of the teachers at Sweetwater high teach halfheartedly and lack enthusiasm which obviously affects the students negatively. There were a few teachers whose primary interest was to foster student learning, but the amount of subpar instructors far outweighed the good ones.
Some teachers are more difficult than others. Some give you a workload that prepares you for college and some honestly act like they don't care. But I'm sure it's like that everywhere. If you're looking to take any foreign language other than Spanish, I wouldn't suggest going to school here because Spanish is the only foreign language they offer & the elective courses are fairly general. When I moved here sophomore year I had to change my elective focus because the one I had selected at my old school was not offered at Sweetwater. It's not a big enough school to provide a lot of course options.
