Surry Early College High School Reviews
Rating 4.2 out of 5 45 reviews
Surry early is a very inclusive and diverse school. I loved that you could always be yourself and no one really judged each other. Everyone who goes to surry early really wanted to be there. That’s what makes it so special everyone’s working towards something. We also get to learn how to do college instead of being thrown in. We Have many great opportunities to excel and tutoring programs. All our books and college fees are paid for. We get a 2 year degree for free. Almost all of the high school teachers are supportive and have refreshing ways of teaching. I have loved my time at surry early and would recommend it a thousand times over. If your family doesn’t think they could pay for college, surry early is a great option. They want to help those who can’t afford college. The only things I would change about it is to bring back high school clubs. Before we had a time in the week where we had clubs and got to interact that’s now gone. Overall it’s an amazing environment.
Throughout my years of attending this school, I would say it's quite experience to have. They prepare you for the future and help improve your studies. Great staff and instructors; they listen and help any students that are struggling. Their main goal is to help students achieve their goal and what is needed in order to reach that goal.
Surry Early College High School is not a traditional high school, but even so, I have found that attending this school has been fun and has opened many opportunities for me. Having the opportunity to take college-level classes and be on a college campus is helping me be prepared for when I transfer to a 4-year college.
