Something I really like about Suring High School is the small school atmosphere. The small classes allow you to work individually with your teacher with things you're struggling with. Sports and clubs are welcoming to everyone. There are no try-outs, which is a great opportunity for students normally not interested in sports to step outside their comfort zone. Although the size of the school is helpful in some scenarios, it can also have a negative impact. There is a lack of variety of classes. It would be extremely beneficial to have AP classes available. Because it is a small school there is a lack of money going to clubs and sports. Most expenses must be met through fundraising.

Suring High is a very small school in a very small town. This is something that I liked about my high school experience. It was very easy to get help or one on one time with teachers and they really did have your best interest at heart. The staff never hesitated when you I needed help. It was nice to come to school everyday and know almost everyone by name. It made classes and sports easier because I was already familiar with everyone. Overall, I had a very good high school experience and enjoyed my time at Suring Hish School.
Compared to any of the other schools I've went to, and trust me I've been to all the corners of the U.S., transferring many times away from and back to this school, for good reason of course! I think it's the sense of community that makes this place seem so niche, and enjoyable. I feel compared to larger schools, this place allows you to develop more pride in yourself and the people around you, allowing you to become more connected with the staff, student body, and people of the community.
