Sunlake High School Reviews
Rating 3.73 out of 5 561 reviews
Sunlake High School is a both an extremely good school in most respects, and a tedious school in others. The school itself is great, and the education is some of the best in the Land O' Lakes Florida area. The teachers are always willing to help and work harder than they need in order to make sure the students are doing as well as they can, and they have a good amount of programs and opportunity, such as the aviation program that I am currently enrolled in.
However, there are also downsides to the school. The primary one is the bell schedule, which has been a source of some confusion for a few years now, and is the only really bad thing about the school at all.
Overall, Sunlake High School is a good place for learning and education, and I have greatly enjoyed my time there learning.

The school has had much change when it comes to the schedule over the past few years. We currently are low on teachers which is causing some issues with the education status but the classes that have teachers are well taught. The lunch and breakfast this year is free which is nice as it allows everyone the ability to eat in the morning and afternoon. Furthermore, the school has too many students as we need more high schools in the area as everywhere we get at least 500 more students. The counselors are a big help as they're available most of the time and find a way to help us somehow.
The teachers make sure that you understand what you’re doing, and if you’re struggling to understand they are willing to take time out of their day and help you until you understand what your learning in the class. The teachers also care about the students futures, and they want their students to succeed no matter what, and if they see one struggling with something that isn’t school related, they always make sure to remind their students that they are there if you need help. The students that go there are also very nice, and they are mean to one because they feel like it. The administration are always aware of the students and if they see a student is failing a class, they make sure to reach out to the student and help them. The councilors are also very helpful when it comes to questions for after high school, and always have their doors open for whenever a student has a question for them.
