I have been going to Suncoast PolyTech for 4 years now and every day I love it even more. When I was younger, all I've ever wanted to do was produce films. I loved being able to tell people what to do and tell them how to do it to make it perfect. Now that I have enrolled here, I have found my true calling, editing. Suncoast PolyTech helps you find your true calling in life. They have many different programs for everyone to learn about the career they were to pursue. I have been participating in Digital Video Technologies ever since freshman year and I still love it every day. Everyone is super accepting and happy. There have never been incidences where bullying is ever a problem. Suncoast Polytechnical High School is the place you need to go if you want to find out your true calling in life and the teachers will do everything you can to make sure you are set in the right direction.

This is a wonderful school for the tech savvy. It really pushed me to use and learn computers, where other high schools did not. My sisters who went to both the other local high schools can barely use word properly. IT also has smaller class sizes so the teachers can get to know their students and give more one on one attention. The worst part was the lack of sports which leads to lack of culture. I really feel like I missed out on that part of high school. They did their best with arts and after school clubs, but being such a tiny school it was difficult to get many people interested to do much.
It was a decent school, but they oversell themselves greatly in their CTE programs. The Vet program sucks and I've heard too many stories about how bad the teacher is and how the animals only get cared for by students while some students abuse the ability to bring their own pets. The gaming and simulation CTE only just started getting good this year, where teachers constantly left and the program was behind in teaching with poor quality teachers. Students that show up also aren't going to be good all the time because the outcast of schools gather here. Meaning, lots of edgy emo kids with toxic and poor school value consume the campus. Many privlieges got taken away because of previous years constantly pushing the rules. Special snowflakes will have a place here, since bullying is basically no-existant, but drama is everywhere. Also, so are drugs. Kids constantly vape on campus and the school buses and weed is easily available. There is no way for it to be avoided.
