Summit High School is known for its student athleticism and diversity on campus. Although the staff and kids are on the same page, I believe there is a communication/language barrier across generations and races. The school should begin to promote more artistic and creative beliefs. Also, coordination between school activities is important! Especially for student-led organizations and events. I think our teenage years is pivotal toward freedom of expression
I love this place! Im a senior here at Summit and graduating in about a month (May, 2022). I transferred here from another school in my Junior year and never looked back. The academics are competitive with outstanding teachers like Mr. Donde (AP GOV), Mrs. Karpinski (Link Crew/Graphic Design), and Mr. Prentiss (AP US History). The atmosphere is great and the athletics are a great way to become part of a team and be among those who represent Summit and rest of Fontana.
Summit High School is such an awesome school. Lets start with academics, the academics at this school is top-notch and is well appreciated by everyone in the school district. Our forensic biology class is thee best class you can join. Police officers, forensic scientists, and lawyers always stop by to check out our class and give presentations. Ok electives, there's hundreds you can choose from. To ceramics, to drama, link crew, mandarin, T.V pro, you name it. But the marching band at this school is to die for. We get to go to competitions every weekend including an out of state trip to Las Vegas! You can't beat that. Overall, this school is located in a very high class area with the Sierra Mountains overshadowing the whole city. I rate this school an A+.
