The school is small, especially the high school, so everyone knows each other. This is good for friendships and out of school hangouts. At the same time this means that everyone has to participate in everything. This leads to unwilling participation. We still have fun though, because we are always with friends. The awesome thing is that our teachers are also our friends, and we get to learn so much from them. I love this school, but having never been to a big public high school i would like to experience that if I could.

Since the staff of our school is small, our principal and counselor are also our teachers. This means that they are always aware of the students' needs and wants. There are strict rules, however, and they are enforced, but there is nothing unreasonable. The dress-code is modest. Teachers are lenient and understanding to some minor rule disobedience, but when necessary justice is served swiftly and strictly.
We don't have any clubs or things of that nature. Obviously we do sports and compete with other schools all year (soccer, basketball, track). On a monthly basis our high school does community volunteering service projects. Banquets, retreats and school celebrations are becoming more common and as the school grows more extracurricular activities will become available.
