What I loved about Suffern High School that we have our own culture. We have so many different qualities that many schools don't have, and would never understand. Things like unit lunch; where all grades eat together throughout the school. Or our rotating schedule; where we only have each class 4 times a week instead of 5. We have so much great technology at Suffern, from our brand new smart boards, to the teachers all having their own iPad's. We are constantly upgrading everything to kept up with all the students. Even though sometimes the teachers can't keep up with how to use the smart-boards, students will always be there to help. From the mini-theaters, to our small Greek theater in front, Suffern is a great place and i'm lucky to have gotten an education here.

Suffern largely revolves around sports. Hockey and Football games are social events that everyone goes to. The student body also cares more about handball than almost every club. There is a pretty good art and music program, and the school is good about funding them in addition to sports teams. There are a lot of creative classes you can take, but if sports isn't your thing than it gets hard to have an active social life. The student body has no diversity, and everyone dresses exactly the same.
Most teachers are good, and will offer a lot of extra help. However, some teachers are notorious for being condescending, rude, incompetent, and apathetic to the stress or their students.
I attended suffern high school for 4 years. Although it is the only high school I know, I would definitely not call it the best. My freshman and sophomore years were much more care free compared to my junior and senior year. The teachers were more relaxed, as well as friendly. The faculty, principles, and other staff changed once my junior year had started. With the introduction of a new principle. Suffern high had went from a lovable school where everyone got along with everyone..to a place of anger, and complete dissatisfaction of student to staff.
