This school is amazing. I have health issues and they had great accommodations that helped me succeed. My other school did not seem to care about students as individuals and I felt more like just a number for them. Success is a different story. The administration and teachers seem passionate about their job. They go above and beyond to help their students. For example, some teachers offer food so that students aren't hungry. This is a good school and the only flaw is that RRISD doesn't provide as much for Success as they do for other schools. We need computers replaced more often than other schools because of the curriculum being almost entirely online yet the other schools that aren't mainly online get more computers than we do. Success is a great school that cares for its student's well-being.

Firstly, Success was an alternate high school which I transferred to in order to be placed in a setting where I could learn at my own pace, be surrounded by less people, graduate early, and cut ties with those standing in my way to succeed. Transferring was one of the best things I could've done for myself. I was pushed to do my best, reassured when at fault, and accepted for my differences. Feeling welcomed, encouraged, and understood was something I seldom found at my home campus. I recommend transferring to an alternate campus for those who work more diligently on their own, in smaller groups, and with guidance at hand. The Success staff radiates a sense of genuine passion in helping students succeed, even if it's just to graduate high school. Graduating high school is one of the first major things students do as they progress into their older selves, Success offered me and many other students the encouragement and care that is sometimes difficult to find elsewhere.
People are here to get through high school quickly, and that's about it. Not much time to make friends. The teachers are very dedicated to getting the students through classes, and almost everyone here is very focused on graduating, though some sleep through classes daily. Those people usually just get kicked out. Overall I really do enjoy it. I'm in book club and writing club and both are very enjoyable. It's nice knowing I'll graduate earlier than most people my age.
