The teachers bully the children and stress them beyond belief , the administration bully the parents constantly! It's a never ending battle, that teachers are calling the parents atleast a million times a day it makes you start to wonder two things: 1- when are they ever teaching these children? & 2- what exactly did these EXTREMELY young teachers (majority are about 21&23) get their teaching degree if they cannot handle the kids they are teaching? Bronx 2 is extremely disorganized and coming up with new ridiculous rules every single day. Parents get in trouble it seems and get punished right along with the kids. Ever since Ms. Inslee and her new gang of minions have come into power the school has extremely gone down hill!

I am a student at Success Academy Bronx 2 Middle School. I have been in this school since kindergarten and now I am in seventh grade (an 8-year experience). I have been through a lot of challenges through the years and I'm not going to lie but it put a lot of stress on me. In our classes, the teachers would do anything for us until we accomplish and we would have to go in the morning for intervention or the afternoon. We would always take practice tests to prepare for the real and after the test was over, in the next two to three days, we would have parent meetings to go over our scores and debrief on what we are struggling as a person and as a whole community. And yes, it might be annoying that the teachers constantly call the parents, but they are doing this because they care. As I am typing this right now, I have one intentional day left until the dress rehearsal (a practice test) so we can prepare for the State Test which is in three weeks.
Keep teachers longer; invest in them and get them to stay. Teacher turnover very high. Kids get used to one teacher to have another teacher step in mid year.
