This was our first year at Stratford Palo Alto. From the very beginning the staff was extremely welcoming to both my children. We have been a Stratford family for several years at a different location and when we moved homes, we transferred to the Palo Alto campus.
We really love the fact that Stratford has a strong curriculum and structure. The structure really helps my children stay focused. The staff is very responsive with feedback and questions. If there are any concerns, they work with you to make sure you see the results you are looking for.
You can really feel that the school prioritizes the students. The administration and staff are very caring and super friendly. Overall we are really happy at Stratford Palo Alto!

My daughter was in Stratford Palo Alto campus from Pre-K to 5th grade. Originally my family chose Stratford Palo Alto because of diversity, class size, and balance of academics and music/art classes. We would make the same choice if we could select again!
The teachers are very responsive and responsible. In the beginning of Pre-K, my daughter didn’t like to eat or nap at school. The teachers not only helped her one on one, but also talked to me about her adaptation to the new routine. My daughter always can talk to her previous teacher even after she graduated to the next grade. The environment helps her feel supported and let her focus on learning. I wish the school can grow bigger in physical size and there are more after school clubs. Overall, my family really likes Stratford Palo Alto.

Our family loves Stratford. The curriculum is challenging but interesting. My kids stayed enthusiastic and engaged. The staff is caring while using effective techniques to teach the kids manners and discipline. Best of all, the school attracts a wonderful community of smart, motivated kids and families.
Stratford follows the core knowledge philosophy providing broad instruction including not only math, reading and writing but also grammar, vocabulary, recitation, art, science and history. Specialists teach computer science, music , PE and Spanish. They provide knowledge and know how to foster the future success of their students.
Lastly, I appreciate their prioritization of students. During 2020-2021, when most local schools were closed, they stayed in-person with a full 35 hour/week schedule. My son transferred in during this time and ended that difficult year, not with learning loss and social emotional issues like many of his former public school peers, but ahead and happy.
