As a junior for this school I believe it's been a bit of a waste. Tuition is very high for mediocre teachers and old buildings. Half of the campus is brand new and shiny (and what they show parents) and the other half is practically falling apart. Most students are very snobby and rude and it is hard for an artistic or creative person to flourish here. Do not send your son here, choose a school which is more than surface-level. This school is one large advertisement for parents to throw away 20,000 a year

Strake Jesuit is a great school that balances teaching Catholic Worldview and academics. Most of the teachers are pretty good, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities offered at Strake. However, there are a few issues, namely the culture of the students. All of the students have opinions, which is a good thing. The problem is that many of them like to cram their opinions down your throat, and those who don’t agree or don’t want to hear it tend to be met with ridicule. If the atmosphere of the school could become more accepting, it would be better for everyone.
I honestly think this school is much better than my old middle school. It gave me a fresh start and really gave me an insight on how to be more responsible with my time. The teachers really care and they'll do anything to help you, just ask!
