Strake Jesuit is an amazing school! It has amazing academics. The teachers are always willing to meet with students and they care about your success. The counselors are very good about sending different scholarship opportunities to kids. The sports facilities are amazing too! Strake Jesuit will form your son into a man by the time he graduates and he will be prepared for college.

I just graduated from Jesuit, and reflecting back on my time at Jesuit I honestly do no think there is a better school out there. Call me crazy but I think it is the best school in the country. You get an unreal education that challenges you, gets you to develop a strong work ethic, and overall prepares you big time for college. My fall semester at the college I'm at has been a breeze and by no means do I go to an easy school. Athletically, Jesuit is the real deal. If you are a competitor on the field, you've arrived at the right place. If you are serious about playing sports, not only do you compete against the toughest competition in the Houston area, but you also compete against your own classmates which ultimately makes you better and pushes you. Socially, Jesuit is super diverse. It made me grow and really open up to different kids. I came into Jesuit not having really any good friends and came out with my best friends for life.
As a junior for this school I believe it's been a bit of a waste. Tuition is very high for mediocre teachers and old buildings. Half of the campus is brand new and shiny (and what they show parents) and the other half is practically falling apart. Most students are very snobby and rude and it is hard for an artistic or creative person to flourish here. Do not send your son here, choose a school which is more than surface-level. This school is one large advertisement for parents to throw away 20,000 a year
