Stoughton High School Reviews
Rating 3.45 out of 5 115 reviews
Obviously, my experience is different since I went through COVID-19. Overall, I like the teachers as many of them are understanding and will support students if they are going through hardships. Most of the teachers teach the subject with such ease. There is an enormous bumbler of clubs that people can join and be a part of. One thing that brings down Stoughton is the mood of it. There are often fights in the halls and it's difficult to see all this violence happening in a place of learning and clubs. The food isn't really appealing and it's low effort as well, which makes lunch quite distasteful.
The environment is pretty good for studying, a lot of experiment, sufficient devices, equipments to support student in order to study and approach their goals. Teachers are kindly, patient and always willing to help students to be able to understand and comprehend the lessons. There are a lot of clubs and counselors, administrators really care and try to do a lots to help students getting in to their dream colleges or to find the right road for students to go. The only thing that I’m kind of upset with school is that when I go to the library there isn’t color printing. Everything in this school is much better than my previous schools, bigger schools, a lot of equipments, a lot of devices for practicing and doing experiments, stronger team sport but when I get in to the library of school, I’m kind of disappointed.
Stoughton has a good amount of social issues and things that could be fixed altogether. However, overall, it's a pretty decent school. I am not unhappy to have gone here. I just wish the environment was one that was more comfortable to be apart of. As a young Black woman in the Stoughton community, I always felt like I was fighting to feel welcome. From banning of flags to lack of diverse staff, it just uncomfortable at times to be apart of this community.
