The family atmosphere all throughout my years of education, from kindergarten to being a senior, has been absolutely phenomenal. They have advanced their resources for the kids as the years have gone by, giving them a better accessible chance to learn more. I have personally have little to none issues with people bullying one another, making it a safe and lovely environment. I started going here in kindergarten and couldn’t ask for a better education system to have. As you get to high school there is numerous opportunities for taking college courses. Therefore a student is set up for success leading to college. The only thing I’d say is lacking would be the communication and maturity of the staff sometimes.
St. Mary's is a wonderful school that educates the whole child -- mind, body, and spirit. The small class sizes, structure, and challenging curriculum help prepare students for a successful future. There truly is a family atmosphere with K-12 students all in one building and interacting together on a regular basis for service projects and other events like the all-school Christmas dinner. Students learn the value of helping others through the wide variety of service projects done throughout the year.
What I like about St. Mary's is that it's a small school. You definitely get the chance to make close friendships. The thing about St.Mary's is that we all grow up to be like brothers and sisters. I have been with my small class of nine since the first grade. Everybody is super nice to one another and some of the teachers truly care about their students. I definitely feel like my school would be better if only we had clubs. St. Mary's does not have any clubs. That is something I look forward to in college. Also, the food isn't great, but that's mostly because of the government.
