I have loved Stoneleigh since I walked through the doors on the first day. . There was a lot of self harm and depression a couple years ago. I participated in it, however through the support I received from teachers, friends and administration I have become a stronger and smarter version of myself. The IB program is what makes this school stand out. It no doubt is challenging however it is very gratifying. I, as a senior am in the middle of it right now and it is extremely difficult, however my teachers are there to help me through it. They are very accessible and able to break down any concepts that students may not understand. I love it here and I can't believe I'm graduating in May. My 6 years here have not gone to waste.
Review Stoneleigh-Burnham School
The school is extremely democratic and doesn't offer the opportunity for other opinions. It is very difficult to stand out with political views. The people are very nice, but even the teachers take political stands in classes. The academics are very good, however, some of the teachers are a little crazy. It's overall a good place though.
I loved the people there, as well as the love of academics that each person has, including teachers. What I did not like was the administration. There were obvious cases of preferential treatment, as well as injustice and dismissal of complaints.
