The four years at Stockdale were ones for the book! From amazing pep rallies to the exciting Friday night lights. I got to experience a school wide spell yell and got to be part of the black hole. The black hole is our outstanding student section that cheers for our sports team. I was also involved in extracurricular activities, such as National Honors Society, but there are other clubs that Stockdale offers. Stockdale is an amazing school we bring about Mustang PRIDE and most of all we express our diversity through our unity week where we explore the different cultures at our school. My experience at Stockdale will never be forgotten because I felt connected and welcome. If I were to change one thing about Stockdale, I would bring back the Medical Academy. The Medical Academy helped me get involved with medicine. They are canceling the Med Academy because we don’t have anyone who could run it, so this would be the one thing I would change.
Stockdale High School was great experience for me. All those people were amazing and I enjoyed staying over here. I love all the Rally boys and Rally girls dance were excellent. The teachers have excellent service for working with students to help them learn about new things in every subject to be ready in future career goals. Having more curricular programs that students can enjoy playing sports or joining after school clubs was the great idea. I like they included new clubs like Fashion Club, International Club and Kpop Club. Also they included electives as Young Adult Novel and Medical Academy. I glad I’m a Stockdale alumni and didn’t leave this school. I would call it “Once a Mustang! Always a Mustang!”
My experience at Stockdale has been pretty good overall! Most teachers are pretty helpful and genuinely care about the success of their students. The school also offers a variety of clubs and student organizations that really made my time at this school worthwhile. It was a little difficult at times to participate in some club activities when the financial burden fell on the student's families, but I enjoyed being surrounded by a supportive faculty and encouraging friends.
