I love this school! It is always well maintained. This welcoming school has good administrators, teachers and coaches. They have some of the best programs in the North side Independent School District. Especially their athletic and band programs. Students athletes are the best! These departments breed successful students. The staff Is great and listen well to students needs. Our custodians are the sweetest, as well as our cafeteria employees. This school also has many great resources that students can benefit from;resources like the Go Center. The Go Center provides assistance with college applications, resumes, scholarships, and job applications. The culture of the Stevens is overall extraordinary. Students represent this school with pride.

My experience at Stevens high school was very memorable and overall very fun and amazing. The majority of this I can credit to the band organization. There are many times when I miss being a high school student and making so many memories with my friends while making great friendships and engagements with teachers of all grades and subjects. A thing I would change is the enforcement of the dress code, allowing for more opportunities for students to be more comfortable, which is luckily being changed by letting students wear shorts throughout the school day. Another thing I would change is the enforcement of the rules because some students take advantage of the lack of enforcement. More wiser decisions need to be made to eliminate conflicts about how rules need to be enforced, and they need to be enforced equally towards all students. Despite these changes, my experience at Stevens high school has left me with experiences and memories that I will never forget.
Stevens High School is a very good high school, the teachers are engaging with the students and are willing to help them understand the material being taught. The environment is extremely welcoming and there is something to do here for everyone to stay involved. This school encourages everyone to get involved in an extracurricular or sport to give them a reason to want to come back to school. The GoCenter is such an important resource for college readiness and always keeps up with new updated scholarship lists for seniors and juniors to apply to.
