Very small town school, I graduated with 10. It was fun and very involving, but not much to do. Teachers were nice but they retired and the teachers are new and not great. Administration is even worse but looking to get better.
Sterling Public Schools is an all around great school. The staff really gets to know the students here and want to watch them grow and succeed. They will always work with the students to help them in any way possible. The students here are also extremely friendly.
For a small school we have a good size of different classes that students can take, but our staff does make us take the core classes that we need most before we can do any different classes which works out well for us. The scheduling process is smooth for us and easy for us to understand what classes we need to take. Yes we think the workload is a lot but we just really don't want the homework, I can say that the student body almost always have homework done.
We have security cameras, bullying is at a minimum everyone gets along pretty well we don't have a school nurse but the office workers do have papers on what kids need medication and have the authorization to give the medication. My school has never had a problem of putting kids' lives into any danger that I know of.
most if not all of the students get involved
I have grown up in this school and have always been safe. I love how the students treat everyone. The teachers have always been helpful and are willing to take their time to help all of their students.
At my school we have never had any threats or gun shootings. My school is in a very safe community and always make sure the students feel safe. Bullying has never been an issue at my school either. I go to a very small school so everyone is friends with everyone and you learn to all get along. I would defiantely recommend my school to be one of the safest schools in the state of Nebraska.
Since I am from a small school, we only are allowed volleyball, basketball, and track for sports. We are involved in Skills USA, CAN, National Honor Society, and Quiz Bowl.
