We have two children who attend Stephenson E.S. and they both love it—as do we! The principal is very responsive and considerate, and the teachers are engaged and supportive. Overall, the school has done a great job of helping students feel included and supported. There’s also very strong parent & community involvement in the school.
I have three kids at Stephenson, and they've all really thrived there. It's apparent the principal really cares, I see him greeting students everywhere he goes and they all know him by name.
I wish TAG was prioritized more—my oldest tested into TAG and we never heard another thing.

We are very happy with the principle and dedicated staff. We have 3 kiddos, the third will start kindergarten this fall and are excited to find out which great teacher she will get.
Overall the staff is responsive to requests for time to speak with them. Some more than others due to personality. This school has changed my views on the importance of the PTA and the Stephenson Foundation. Our previous elementary schools prior to moving here couldn’t do that. I am now actively involved and the positive, inclusive, goal oriented volunteers deserve lots of credit for continuing to keep the class sizes small and the academics relevant with providing technology and supplies the teachers request.
We are proud to be part of the Stephenson school community.
