Teachers care about their students and is a pretty good school, I feel that it is a place where you can find yourself and get easily involved in any extracurricular activities due to the huge amount of options that they have, there's a lot of good classes for students who want to improve on their reading skills and their college careers. Everyone improves their knowledge at Steinbrenner, it is a pleasure to be a Warrior and be part of this amazing community!
My son started Steinbrenner as a junior. Everyone thought this would be a tough transition and that he would never feel at home at Steinbrenner. Nothing could be more wrong. He has met some amazing, intelligent and friendly students, joined a very successful sports team and has thrived in general at Steinbrenner. The students welcomed him immediately, his teachers have been impressive, tough and supportive. The coaches (XC) are phenominal, supportive and all in for their team. He has definitely been more challenged academically than at his previous high school. The guidance office/counselors are available and have assisted our college prep. The parents have also welcomed our family and we have developed great relationships in just a year at this school. Given the choice, I wish we would've made our way to Steinbrenner sooner!
I moved from San Diego, California to Tampa over the summer of 2019. I was very nervous about starting a new school my senior year of high school and I was not sure how things were going to go. As expected my first day was rough because I did not know anybody and I did not know how the school worked. I was so sad because I thought the rest of the year was going to be terrible but my second day here ended up being amazing. This school is very big and has so many people but you have to find the good things. I have made so many wonderful friends here and I am going to miss all of them when we graduate. I think this school is the best high school in Tampa and they give you so many amazing oppurtunities. I joined the choir class "una voce" and Mr. Poole is the best! I made so many friends through choir and their "Big and Littles Program." I also met amazing people through the club "Best Buddies." Best Buddies, HOSA, your class club, DECA are all great clubs.
