It could use more money and resources. There is a lot of room for improvement, but they are doing the best they have with what they got. There is a lot of spirit for the school and lots of parent involvement. Sports gets a lot of attention over other things but it brings in money. People are caring and kind most of the time. Overall its a pretty-okay school. It just needs some help. It could use more money and resources. There is a lot of room for improvement, but they are doing the best they have with what they got. My overall experience with Starmount has been one of great success and memories. The atmosphere here is amazing and everyone feels at home. Being in a small town, everyone knows your name and treats you like you're important. Not only are the teachers and faculty welcoming during school, everyone feels included in extracurricular activities as well. There is a long history of school pride at Starmount and it is one of the things I will take with me when I leave.
My experience at Starmount High School was an excellent one. I can honestly say that some of the most important things to happen in my life happened at Starmount. Likewise, some of the most influential people in my life have been my coaches at Starmount. They are all truly great people who care for the kids and want to see them succeed not just in that sport but in life. The administration cares for the students above all as well. I have witnessed first hand the administration go above and beyond to help a student. Starmount is a great school with people who care for the kids and want the kids to be the very best they can. Like any school, Starmount has its critics, however, the neigh-sayers are usually jealous of how great Starmount really is. At the end of the day, what makes Starmount such a great school and a place I consider home, is the people: the coaches, teachers, administration, and yes the students.
