Stargate Charter School Reviews

Stargate really prepares you for college with rigorous courses and support for you to grow as a student and individual. The community is small and extremely tight-knit, so it is super easy to make friends with the people you are with. The class sizes are super small and personal, so you always feel like more that just a number. Most of the teachers really prove to you that they care about your education and you as a person, and they really are on your side. The sports aren't very good, as Stargate is really known for more artistic and academic gifts and less-so athletics. The coaching staff is not the best, but they do what they can to support the team. There are also tons of clubs and the option to even start your own, so you never have to feel like you don't have a sense of belonging: you will at Stargate. Stargate is still very new, so we have tons of resources and great technology, but the wifi is a bit slow, and many sites are blocked.

Stargate is a school rich in culture, students that attain high academic standards and achievements as well as a supportive faculty. The school's diversity is a melting pot of many different cultures across the entire globe, which leads to multiple interactions across the many nationalities each student represents. The students have been ranked one of the highest in the state of Colorado for their test scores in Mathematics, English and Science, which have all surpassed the state's averages by 38% in all subjects combined. The faculty have also been very support in helping the students get to their potential level of knowledge and ensure that they stand up on the pedestal of success.
I left Academy for Stargate because I felt that both socially and academically Stargate was the place for me. Socially, my visions and goals aligned more with my peers at Stargate.
When I came to Stargate I was completely lost because The Academy failed to teach me the fundamentals in core classes. Stargate was more effective in preparing me for college with their qualified staff and selection of classes. High expectations were stressed daily and their smaller learning environment made that goal attainable.
In conclusion, Stargate provided me with quality learning experiences that challenged and enriched my understanding of the world around me.
