I left Academy for Stargate because I felt that both socially and academically Stargate was the place for me. Socially, my visions and goals aligned more with my peers at Stargate.
When I came to Stargate I was completely lost because The Academy failed to teach me the fundamentals in core classes. Stargate was more effective in preparing me for college with their qualified staff and selection of classes. High expectations were stressed daily and their smaller learning environment made that goal attainable.
In conclusion, Stargate provided me with quality learning experiences that challenged and enriched my understanding of the world around me.

My experience at Stargate was one that I enjoyed overall. I switched schools between 9th grade and 10th grade and found that I enjoyed being at Stargate much more than my previous school. While I am not the best student, I think of myself as well rounded and the school allowed for me to express myself through different classes. Many students at my school are very academically inclined and we lack in the sports section mostly because my school is very small. I am in the first graduating class which has around seventy people in it. Overall, however, I very much enjoyed my experience with Stargate though I am slightly disappointed in the sports because not many students are interested.
Stargate is a charter school in Thornton, Colorado. It is a great charter school for students willing to work, especially those with passions in mathematics or the arts. The Theater program is very solid, although it is currently collapsing due to staffing difficulties.
