Stamford Central School is an unique school nustled in the Catskill Mountains. There is a sense of family in this school that is like no other. At SCS we teach pre-k up to twelfth grade, which is very unusual but creates a very homey vibe. The teachers work very hard to help all of the students in the school. All of the teachers strongly believe in pushing the students to do their absolute best. Due to the rural surroundings, the diversity among the people is lacking. However, the people in the school truly care for everyone, which makes it an incredible place to attend everyday. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to attend this school for the last thirteen years of my life and I wouldn't change my experience for anything.

I would love to see the community change. A big change I would like to see is the environment made easier for the students so that they could relax a little more.
The school is one of the best academic schools in the area. They do a great job at preparing students for college.
