Staley high school is overall a wonderful school. The teachers and counselors are willing to help push you to finding college opportunities and to help with your current struggles as a high school student. There are many ways to get involved at Staley high school, including a variety of sports, clubs, organizations, and many fun activities located in the library. The staff and administration are always on watch to make sure us students are safe, that’s one of the most important things. Other than that they focus on making us successful and achieving our goals. Grit is what they say. They encourage us to have grit so our futures can be bright. The one thing I would change at Staley is how we spend our budget, there are multiple televisions in he cafeteria that we don’t use, we should find a better more efficient way to spend those funds. But besides that Staley is a great school. Even the students are supportive of one another, we are one Staley nation who stick together.

Honestly, Staley is a beautiful school, but looks can be deceiving. This is a school that values numbers and championships more than anything. Overall the teachers were okay, but counselling was horrible. I had teachers who didn't bother to learn my name and others who went out of their way to connect with students. The counselling staff was useless in really guiding students on life after high school. I think the school is becoming a lot more diverse now, but until my senior year it was pretty normal for me to be the only one of maybe 3 non- white students in a class. Class overall were super easy and honestly are hard to fail unless you really are not trying at all.
They value football more than virtually every other activity or sport, much like every tacky high school movie ever created. Here at Staley, if you don't play a sport, you don't matter. The school cares more about money than their students. However, there are some teachers and administrators who genuinely care about the kids, and those members of the faculty are absolutely amazing. In addition, Staley does provide the students with great opportunities and resources that students at other schools do not have. All in all, Staley is a good school, but, like every institution, has areas in which it could definitely improve.
