The best part about Stadium is the community of our school, as each program and club in Stadium continues to grow. Without the community, there wouldn't be murals all throughout the halls and on the parking garage. Our stadium society would be nothing without the enthusiastic participation, and the driven students and student body that work together to create fun opportunities and crazy pep rallies. Every part of stadium works together, which I believe creates a wonderful sense of coherency and commitment to not only our school, but to each other as we rise above challenges.
Perhaps the worst experience at stadium high school was when a senior obtained some fart spray and began spraying it in teacher's classrooms. I won't go into the details, but they graduated. And another bad experience is schedules that include going back and forth between the third floor and the sub-basement. I would like to see a dance club added to stadium, because that disappeared after COVID.

Stadium High School has been very inviting and opened me up to many opportunities since moving to Washington. It has pushed me to take AP classes, which I had previously not planned on doing, and it has furthered my interests in things outside of my usual comfort zone, such as guitar, swimming, and being social. In fact, the people of Stadium have helped me tremendously throughout my years here. Staff have helped set me up with McKinney Vento so that I would not be alone while I stuggled to no longer live with my parents, and when I had almost been homeless because of it. On a positive note though, thanks to an Intro to Guitar class here, I have discovered and expanded upon my passion for music and the arts, allowing me to express myself in a way previously inacessible. Change I wish to see would be teachers trusting their students more, and vice versa. Some staff look down upon their students before giving them the benefit of the doubt, and in turn, disrespect has run rampant.
I am proud to call myself an alum of this high school. Graduating in 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, my high school experience was far from normal. Though, I was lucky enough to remain involved in extra-curricular activities through various leadership positions. These include being cross country captain, track and field captain, student body vice president, DECA club co-president, yearbook editor, and the school's mascot. The teachers prepared me well for the university I currently attend and I am incredibly grateful for the lessons I learned in and out of the classroom during my time at Stadium.
