I’ve had my ups and downs as a junior, but I found my niche here. The administration bothers me because we’ve suffered through 2 suicides, several teacher scandals, and school conflicts and they’re always thrown under the rug to maintain the schools rep. Very shady. Otherwise, the academics are rigorous and you will most likely find your core friendgroup here. Lots of different people to meet and despite being a dominant sports school, this is not a jock school.

Growing up, I loved going to St.X football games, and just about everything St.X. My dad went there so he wanted his sons to follow in his footsteps. I remember walking through the doors freshman thinking to myself, this is my new home for the next 4 years. Here I am senior year, and I must say I have enjoyed these past 4 years at St. Xavier. Despite a rigorous academic schedule, and staying up on schoolnights to only finish homework at midnight, I wouldn't do it again, but I could say it was most definitely worth it. Making new friends at first was a challenge, but I eventually fell into a great group of guys and now whiule having my feet in other firend groups. The teachers were very friendly and we had great relationships. I am indeed ready to move on to the next stage of my life, and hope to be even more successful in the future.
Saint Xavier high school is truly the epitome of College prepretory. Although the tuition is rather high, plentiful financial aid is available to make it affordable (so much so that I have a friend who pays $200 to attend while actual tuition is around $14,000). The curriculum is challenging yet realistic, teaching superb time management skills.
