St X prepared me well for a successful life and career. My brother and I both graduated from St. X and we both were admitted to IVYs, he to Harvard and I to Columbia. St X balances academics with sports, extracurricular and spiritual opportunity. Looking back, I’m glad that I attended an all boys school which allowed me to focus on academics without the distraction of social intrigues. It was a sacrifice for my parents to send my brother and I to St. X and I will be ever grateful to them for giving up many indulgences in order to afford us a St.Xavier education. While much has changed in the 43 years since I graduated, I know from talking to more recent alums that St X continues to excel in developing the whole man.
St. Xavier High School is an excellent college preparatory institution. They are great at preparing students for life after high school, while also excelling at helping to guide young men into men of great character and connection within themselves, their relationships with others, and their communities. St. Xavier High School has an excellent group of teachers and staff members who make educating and shaping the young men they encounter their top priority.
