My children began 3 years ago at STM in Pre-K. As a former educator, I was seeking challenging academia and a safe, caring environment. The teachers are fabulous and create an excellent environment for children to learn and form their faith. The curriculum is academically rigorous and there are high interest activities for students throughout all grades including special classes. Class sizes are small and differentiated learning is the norm. Plenty of enrichment, sports and extracurricular activities plus affordable after care fees. So thankful we found our village at St. Thomas More!
STM is a small school with a tight-knit community. They are preparing our children for the real world therefore the students are challenged, but also have time for extra-curriculars. Religious education is an important component of the school as evident in the "prayer partner" program, where younger students are paired with older students. It is a great way to build community and build friendships. Highly recommend this school.
We are on our 4th year with 3 kids at STM. There were many schools to choose from, but STM stood out during my search. From my inquiry call to the first day of school- the administrative staff did an excellent job transitioning me through the admission process. The school has multiple classes for each grade and it offered the most diverse student population. The teachers’ passion shines through via the communication with parents, involvement in special events, and relationships with students. The curriculum has proved challenging for my kids. The class sizes are small and students can work at different paces that enable a comfortable learning environment. The PTO is active and they do an awesome job planning excellent events throughout the year for students, families, teachers, and faculty. I love that each time I call the school or go to the front office- I am always taken care of and when I leave- I know my kids are in loving hands.
