A decent education relative to the $24k price tag (which doesn’t reflect all the other ways they will charge you). Their athletic programs are outstanding, but the education is not exactly that . Some of the teachers are fantastic, others not so much. High student performance seems to be more a reflection on who they accept into it as opposed to actually being the source of performance. Students in AP and “Advanced” (Honors) courses will about half the time teach themselves the course content while the teachers don’t do anything as the school admin seems to not care. Their theology program is incredibly proficient in the academic side of theology, but many of the students have the private school kids stereotypical moral compass. The education is by no means bad, but it costs your kidney to go to, you would expect something more. This school will be amazing for bringing average or below average kids up to decent performance, while high achieving students will see no benefit.
My son is a junior and has had an outstanding experience. He is taking advanced classes that are challenging and stimulating. His teachers are inviting, engaging, and dedicated to his success. He plays sports and is a member of several clubs. He enjoys the service opportunities and appreciates giving back to his community. He likes being in a Christ-centered environment.
As a parent, I have always felt included and support by the staff and other parents. Their are numerous volunteer and social opportunities throughout the year. Without a doubt, our family is so glad we chose St. Thomas HS for our son!

Graduated from St.Thomas in 2006. It is one of the best decisions you can make as a parent to send your young boy to this school. At the end of his time at STH he will learn to become a man and lead the way into the future through Goodness, Discipline and Knowldege. He will make life long friends and bonds here and it will shape the rest of his life. You can ask any graduate of St. Thomas they will all say the same thing. It is a wonderful school. Eagle Fight Never Dies!
