This catholic school has a family atmosphere, with teachers that are willing to help their students with whatever they need. Students are invested in their education and work towards college at the level they are comfortable with. Students are very involved in helping their school succeed, and the administration helps them every step of the way. I highly recommend giving the school a tour, and even asking current students about their experience!
The educational quality has grown worse over the years. Expectations are low. Students are very cliquey and rude to new students. Teachers have low expectations, and because of the voucher program, student quality is low and good students are few and far between.
What I love about my school is that it is family oriented. I had attended a public school my first year of Junior High School and then was transferred to a Private Catholic School. I didn't want to go because I didn't want to be in such a small environment. But being there for the past 4 years of my high school, I am so blessed and grateful that my parents decided to put my educational investments there. It really is a powerful school that has changed me for the better. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else to finish my high school years. St Thomas is a great place foe anyone to attend because you are going to receive a college preparatory education.
