SSA provided a great foundation for my college education in a variety of ways. They provided a variety of higher level classes, such as dual enrollment courses and advanced placement courses, and employed teachers who showed an interest in my education. In addition to academics, St. Scholastica Academy also encouraged me to further explore my faith life and increase my involvement in community service. In trying to balance all of these things with the many extra curriculars that SSA also provides, I have been taught the value of a strong work ethic and determination.

Recently, a new president took over SSA. For the past couple of years, SSA has lost its outstanding reputation, but now the school is earning it back with hard work! The new president of our school cares genuinely about us students, and when we voice our opinions, she listens.
From the minute I first stepped foot onto the campus, I immediately knew this school was for me. Maybe it was the way every student I encountered showed a love and pride for the school. Or maybe it was the way I felt accepted and appreciated by the faculty and other students. Or maybe it was all of the fun activities and dances that attracted me. Or maybe it was in the way every single person advocated sisterhood and St. Scholastica herself. Or maybe it was in the way that I felt I could grow as a person in my faith, knowledge, and leadership. Whichever it may be, St. Scholastica Academy (SSA) has taught me so much knowledge and has given me so many wonderful opportunities! I am so thankful for this school and if i had to choose again I would choose SSA in a heartbeat.
